SALISBURY - Joan H. LesCallette died at her home on Saturday, Apr. 1, 2017. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Melba Baker Hastings.
She graduated from Delmar Junior-Senior High School in 1981 and went on to attend the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, graduating in 1987.
She worked for Giant Food as a pharmacist for 28 years. She was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church, where she loved playing the piano and singing in the choir.
She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Pat LesCallette, of Salisbury; brother, James Robert Hastings, of Kingwood, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Thursday, Apr. 6, 2017, at Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury. Interment was in St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
