FRUITLAND - Jenifer Abigail Romero-Gonzalez died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, in Philadelphia, Pa. Born in Mexico, she was the daughter of Victoria Gonzalez and Ignacio Romero. She loved Taekwondo and participated in the National Championships in Las Vegas as a teenager. She worked for LaTolteca Restaurant, where she developed her talents and love for hospitality management. She later used those skill to grow her career in real estate. She was close to obtaining her degree at Salisbury University. In addition to her parents she is survived by a daughter, Anabelle Frene; son, Steven Hasting; grandfather, Alberto Gonzalez; and sisters, Daisy Romero and Karen Romero. A funeral service was held on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
