SALISBURY - Jeannette E. Rimpo died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born Aug. 6, 1924, in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mabel Schneider. Her career spanned many years as a bookkeeper with Artcraft Electric, Pocahontas and Torrey Motors. She was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and Naomi Class, Women of the Moose No. 1208, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, TOPS No. 324 MD and a volunteer at the Blood Bank. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Robert Cormier of Maine; brother, Karl Schneider of New York; and a sister, Greta Bernatche of Maine. She is survived by three siblings, Irving Schneider of Salisbury, Carrie Sabin of Brewer, Maine, and Eleanor Ladd of Bangor; a brother-in-law, Donald Bernatche of Bangor; two sons, Eugene K. Cormier of Houston, Texas, and Raymond E. Cormier of Salisbury; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
