Jean Kibble Taylor Beach

SALISBURY - Jean Kibble Taylor Beach died Friday, June 26, 2015, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Salisbury, she was the third child of Henry Sewell Taylor and Florence Kibble Taylor. She graduated from Wicomico High School in 1942, married Joseph Douglas Beach in 1946. She loved living in Salisbury and thought it was the perfect place to live. She was the second oldest and a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Salisbury and served on the alter guild for many years. She was also a life member of the Junior Board at PRMC where she volunteered for 25 years. In her later years, she volunteered at Coastal Hospice. She was also the secretary/ treasurer for Howard Sand and Gravel Inc. She is survived by her children, Lynn B. Harris and Joseph D. Beach Jr. of Salisbury; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1985. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Taylor and her sister, Sarah Frances Taylor Moore. A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
