SALISBURY - Jean C. Hill, 80, of Salisbury, died on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irving F. Cannon of Cambridge. She was a 1953 graduate of Cambridge High School and graduated from Salisbury State Teachers College, where she earned a bachelor's degree. She was as an educator in Worcester County for 32 years. She was a longtime member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and The Town and Country Garden Club. She was a former member of the Junior Auxiliary Board of PRMC, the Worcester County Teachers Association, the Maryland State Teachers Association, the National Teachers Association, The Inner Wheel, and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority of Key Women Teachers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William T. Hill. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey C. Hill and Michael W. Hill of Salisbury; and several nephews and nieces. A funeral service was held on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Wicomico Memorial Park.
