SALISBURY - Janet Genevieve Wreden died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Long Island, N.Y., she was the daughter of Eleanor Rains Medeiros, of Florida and the late Jesse Medeiros.
Each Christmas season, she and her husband would make hundreds of pounds of fudge and personally delivered it to the Walter Reed Medical Center for the wounded warriors and the staff.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Carr, II; three sisters, Carol, Joyce and Nancy and one brother, Jesse.
She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Wreden, of Salisbury; two daughters, Laura Grove, of Laurel and Cynthia L. Conway, of Salisbury; a son, Tommy Carr, of Delmar; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie and Julia; and a brother, David.
