SALISBURY - James Donald Farley died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Huff Creek, W.Va., he was the son of the late James Dewey Farley and Eupha Cook Farley. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a retired Wicomico County teacher. He was employed by the BEE Federal Credit Union, where he has been treasurer since 1968. He was a member of the Wicomico Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Deacons, Board of Trustees and the Mission Committee. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mona Nicely Farley; his daughter, Karen Bennie; his son, Kevin Farley; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Vance; and a brother, Paul Farley. A memorial service will be held today, Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Wicomico Presbyterian Church in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. at the Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
