Interact Club keeps school grounds litter-free

Posted

CAMBRIDGE — Members of the Cambridge-South Dorchester High School Interact Club held their first school property clean up of the year. On a Friday after school, the members met and moved around the school picking up trash.

The Club has several clean ups scheduled with a hope to make the school as litter free as possible. Hopefully, they feel, people will choose to put their trash in the proper place rather than drop it on the ground.

The Interact Club is for high school-age students and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cambridge. The clean up is just one activity that the Club participates in throughout the year. Many of their projects are planned by the membership but they are quick to help the Rotary Club when their services are needed.
