Special to Dorchester Banner/DCA In the Galleries at Dorchester Center for the Arts in September will be “Exploring the Tarot: Twenty-three Artists Hook the Major Arcana.” Among the artists featured will be works by from left: Marie Smith, Kathleen Herbert and Diane Phillips.[/caption] The Dorchester Center for the Arts (DCA) will present in the Galleries in September “Exploring the Tarot: Twenty-three Artists Hook the Major Arcana.” Also showing will be local favorite Elissa Crouch, who is a Traditional Rug Hooker. A special exhibit will also be in the front studies featuring work by artists Alan Brock and Michael King and a special exhibit featuring work by artists Alan Brock and Michael King. An Artists’ Reception will be held on Second Saturday, Sept. 10, from 5-7:30 p.m., with music and light refreshments.
