Herman Mitchell

SALISBURY - Herman Benjamin Mitchell Sr., 55, died Friday Nov. 21, 2014. Born on March 1, 1959 he was the son of Herman Edward Mitchell and Kathleen Mitchell. He was a master carpenter by trade; owning his own business for 20 years. The last six years of his life he worked for Pocomoke River State Park at Shad Landing and Milburn Landing. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lacey Willison-Mitchell; a daughter, Linsey Mitchell; a son, Herman Mitchell Jr.; one grand-daughter; two brothers, David Wayne Mitchell and Eddie Mitchell; two sisters, Helen Vogt and Teresa Riggin; and several nieces and nephews. A service was held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Tilghman Road Church of God of Prophecy in Salisbury. Arrangements were handled by Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
