CAMBRIDGE - Missionary Helen Joann Molock, 75, of Cambridge, departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at Mallard Bay Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a wife, a mother, a sister, a grandmother and great grandmother, an aunt, a niece, a cousin, and a loving friend. Helen was born in Suffolk, Va., on Jan. 16, 1935, to the late Mary Freeman Watford and the late Ernest Watford. Her religious training began at United Missionary Baptist Church under the guidance of the late Rev. Ernest Sutton. Under his leadership, Helen became a missionary and spent her life serving God and her community. She also grew in faith at Soul Outreach Christian Center under the pastorship of her brother, the Rev. J.J. Green. Helen's final years were spent serving God at True Gospel Tabernacle of Praise where her daughter Rev. Mary Ennals was her spiritual leader. She faithfully served as the president of the Missionary Society and mother of the church here and in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her education in Dorchester County Public Schools. She was employed at Coldwater Seafood until her retirement at the age of sixty-two. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Della Cephas, and Katie Green; three brothers, Ernest Watford (Florida Boy), Leroy Watford, and William Green. She leaves to mourn: her husband of fifty plus years, Calvin Molock; two daughters, Pastor Mary Ennals (William) and Jacqueline Nuton (Curtis); five sons, Calvin Jr., James, Thomas, Tyrone and Ronnie Molock (all of Cambridge, Md); three grandchildren, Tyrone, LaKesha and Juwana; one great-grandchild, KaMarii; a sister, Mary Woolford; two brothers, Robert Green (Joyce) and Rev. James Green (Thelma), all of Cambridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She also leaves to mourn, two daughters in Christ, Rev. Bernice Jackson and Evangelist Marlene Johnson, both of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at United Missionary Baptist Church 1006 Phillips St., Cambridge, with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment in Bethel Cemetery.
