CAMBRIDGE — Now that summer is here it’s time once again for Vacation Bible School at Grace United Methodist Church in Cambridge. This year Holly Spicer, director, and other members of Grace are excited to bring Shipwrecked – Rescued by Jesus to the community. During the five-day program children will venture onto an uncharted island where they will survive and thrive and be anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms. Each day children visit interactive stations where they learn God’s word through music, games, stories, cinema, and crafts. Snack time is even an opportunity to see God’s work. More volunteers are needed and are welcome to join in on the adventure. Children ages 3 through sixth grade are invited to join the Vacation Bible School fun. The Shipwrecked adventure begins on July 9 and continues through July 13, at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Race St., Cambridge, from 9 a.m. until noon each day. Pre-registration is requested.
