Gerald S. Wimbrow

SALISBURY - Gerald Sanford Wimbrow died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Wango, he was the son of the late Avery and Lottie Guthrie-Matthews Wimbrow.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1960, and then was employed as a salesman for a hardware company in Baltimore.
He is survived by a stepson, Boyd E. Ward Berwyn, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Ann Clouser on Emerald Isle, N.C.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Belle Wimbrow.
A graveside service was held Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
