FEDERALSBURG - Francois Souil, 74, at Deershead Hospital Center in Salisbury on Friday, May 9, 2008.

He was born at Desdunes, Haiti on April 11, 1934 the son of the late Saul Francois Souil and Silvana Silvain.

He worked a line worker for many years at Allen Family foods and later at Tyson Poultry in Millsboro, Del. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Federalsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Germaine Civil Souil of Federalsburg; two sons, Pastor Jen Paul Souil (Viola) and William Souil (Adeline) both of Federalsburg and seven daughters, Helene Joseph (Sergo), Micheline Gabriel (Addison), Guerda Charles (Clodamy), Gislaene Thelamaryne (Michelet), Marie Gaspard (Romual), Edrine Souil, and Viola Souil Amilcar, all of Federalsburg and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services for him will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, at First Church of God in Federalsburg with Pastor Peter Smith, Bishop Roland Edouard, Pastor Robert Augustine, Pastor Israel Val, Pastor Wilner Pierre and Pastor Jen Paul Souil officiating. Burial will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg.
