CAMBRIDGE - Evelyn Jeannette Lord Fleetwood, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at her residence. Born in Williamsburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Elmer K. Lord and Emma Nichols Lord. Jeannette worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Preston Trucking. She was a very active member of Zion United Methodist Church. She volunteered at several area nursing homes and enjoyed reading and working in her flowers. She is survived by a son, Doug Fleetwood and his wife, Debbie of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Ryan D. Fleetwood and his wife, Jessica and Brooke N. Coleman and her husband, Skip, all of Salisbury; and two great-grandchildren, Reese and Rhett Fleetwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Haines Fleetwood; and a sister, Alice Hayes. A graveside funeral was held on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at the Unity Washington United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hurlock with Pastor Daniel Rich Walton officiating.
