CAMBRIDGE — The Rotary Club of Cambridge had the pleasure of meeting the new Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Shore Hospital Center, Forrest A. Daniels, MPA, DSC, FACHE. Dr. Daniels, who previously served as Chief Operation Officer of Clifton T Perkins Hospital, is dedicated to the overall mission of healthcare with increased customer satisfaction and innovative solutions to any identified problems.

Dr. Daniels was introduced by Judy Slaughter, director of Volunteer Services.

Matt Smyth, president of the Board of Directors for the Dorchester Center for the Arts, spoke to the Rotarians about some of the programs the Art Center has available. Mr. Smyth told the members that the Art Center is “a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching Maryland’s Eastern Shore community through high quality, engaging programming in the visual, literary, musical and performing Arts.”

In his professional life, Mr. Smyth is a lobbyist with the American Health Care Association in Washington, D.C. He owns a house on historic High Street and divides his time between Cambridge and Washington.

Rotarian Graham Slaughter, Past President of the Art Center, introduced Mr. Smyth.
