He had been a Maintenance Supervisor at the Federal Manor in Federalsburg for many years. At one time, he had been a plumbing assistant at C. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, John P. Mende. A memorial service was held Thursday, Aug. 6th, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S.
