Elva Mae Esham

HEBRON - Elva Mae Esham died Monday Dec. 12, 2016, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenbackville, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Porter and Minnie Mae Williams Porter-Carey. She was a lifetime member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She previously worked in a shirt factory, and later at the Holly Center, retiring in 1983. She is survived by a son, Terance Porter Esham, of Salisbury; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; and three step-grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Weldon Esham and Carroll Lee Hastings; a son, Larry Weldon Esham; and a brother, Everett Porter. A graveside service was held Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
