SALISBURY - Elizabeth Rayne White died Mon., Jun. 8, 2015, in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Sewell W. Rayne and Mollie Driscoll Rayne. Her husband, George D. White preceded her in death in 1987. She was a mother to five children, Carolyn Plotts, Gerald "Jerry" White, Joan Wendell, Joanne Wade and Patricia "Patty" White; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Franklin Rayne, Charles Rayne, and Sewell Rayne; and one sister, Virginia Hoffman. She was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Salisbury. After graduation from Wicomico High School, she worked 27 years as a secretary retiring in 1986 as a part-time receptionist at Salisbury Nursing Home. A funeral service was held Fri., Jun. 12, 2015, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial followed at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
