SHILOH — The North Dorchester High School boys’ tennis team took their second win of the season against North Caroline on Thursday. The final score was 6-1.
In first doubles, Michael Kroeger and Daniel Bradshaw won their game 8-3.
In second doubles, Dalton Adshead and Tai’jere Dotson won their game 8-4, and the newest duo, Connor Kimball and Hunter Knox, breezed through their first game together 8-1.
In first singles, Dalton Adshead lost 8-1. In second singles, Michael Kroeger came back from 7-3 and ended up winning his match 9-7. Daniel Bradshaw won 8-2 continuing his winning streak in third singles.
Finally, with the absence of Seth Talley, Robby Sellers filled in and won 8-4 in fourth singles.
The result brought the boys’ record to 2-4. At the time, Easton let the Bayside North with a record of 4-0, followed by Cambridge-South Dorchester, at 7-1, Queen Anne’s County at 3-1, Colonel Richardson at 3-3, St. Michaels at 1-1.
Trailing the Eagles are Kent Island and Kent County, both with records of 0-2, and North Caroline at 0-6.
The Eagles will be in action at home tomorrow, when they will host St. Michaels. The match will begin at 4 p.m.
Then on April 16, they will return the favor, traveling to St. Michaels for a rematch. It’s on the road again the following day, when the Eagles head to Kent Island. All action begins at 4 p.m.
