SALISBURY - Dorothy "Dot" Twilley, 86, of Salisbury, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Delmar Villa Assisted Living. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Harold and Cora Powell. She graduated from Wicomico High School in 1946 and married her childhood sweetheart, Robert in 1947. A longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Salisbury, she was a full-time mother and homemaker. She is survived by her son, Robert B. Twilley Jr.; daughter, Barbara Psota; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her cousins, Nan Andrews of Brandon, Miss., and Nelson Malone of Salisbury. The three of them grew up together in the same household and were raised as brothers and sisters. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Otho Powell and a sister, Evelyn Washburn. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment followed at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
