CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Doris P. Palmer passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, February 25, 2022.
Born January 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Tressie Phillips.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings - Alfred Phillips, Frances Jennings and Sarah Burton; as well as her husband, Frederick Palmer.
She is survived by her four children, Tommy (Terri) Palmer of Cambridge, Md., Faye (Wes) Haddaway of Nashville, Tenn., Debi (Tim) Case of Easton, Md. and Donna (Jim) Moore of Fairplay, Md. She has nine grandchildren, Brian Skipper, Trisha Savage, John Kerr, Jessica (Dusty) Collison, David (Hannah) Case, Valerie (Jake) Reid, Rachel (James) Dethmers, Allyson (Larry) Jones and Ryan Moore; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., 308 High, St., Cambridge beginning 12 noon. Officiating will be David Case and Pastor Jake Reid. A viewing and visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow the service in Dorchester Memorial Park.
