SALISBURY - Doris E. Baker, 95, of Seaford, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at her home. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late William Littleton and Vergie Parker Littleton. A former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pittsville, she later became a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Seaford. For 18 years, she worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Pittsville Elementary and Middle School. She was also a member of the Pittsville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Pittsville Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary, Pittsville PTA and the Sussex County Grange. She is survived by her daughter, Denise B. Jackson of Seaford; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett S. Baker; a daughter, Wanda L. Cropper and a brother, Calvin Littleton. A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
