BALTIMORE - Doretha D. Smith passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007, in Baltimore.

She was the wife of Harry W. Smith, and mother of Yolanda, Gwendolyn, Harry J., Edith, Darryn and Lionel Smith. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers and a number of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, at Union Chapel AME Church (Cordtown). Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

There will be a viewing from 2-7 p.m. Friday at James A Morton & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1701 Laurens St., Baltimore and Saturday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Union Chapel AME Church where the family will receive friends 12:30-1 p.m.
