CAMBRIDGE – Anyone who has been lucky enough to see the ABM Dancing Divas perform knows that these are some talented young ladies. Now, the country and the world will have a chance to see the Eastern Shore girls perform, when the appear on television.

The team announced that they will compete on the Lifetime Channel’s TV show “Bring It,” in the program’s Season 5. The girls and their coaches will head to the competition on Nov. 11.

“Never in a million years thought we would be competing on the Lifetime reality hit TV show ‘Bring It,’” a statement on the group’s social media site said. “We love the Dancing Dolls and Ms. Diana has always been our motivation. It’s going to be crazy competing against them.”

“ABM” stands for “Always Being Motivated.” The group was established by Rhonda Meekins, who believed that young girls needed a positive activity.

The dancers are based in Dorchester, with a studio on Race Street in Cambridge, though girls ages 6-17 come from across the Eastern Shore to participate.
