Shots fired

On Nov. 7 at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers of the Cambridge Police Department responded to the 600 block of High Street for a report of shots fired. Investigation revealed that two unidentified individuals were in an altercation that resulted in gunfire. A complete canvass of the area was conducted by responding officers and one bullet casing was found. At the time of the CPD’s statement, there were no victims or injuries to report.

Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Company

On Nov. 10 at 5:10 a.m., Federalsburg Volunteers were dispatched for a reported structure fire in the 6300 block of Bell Creek Road. The fire required extensive overhaul by crews on-scene. After operating for approximately two hours, crews returned to service.

Trespassing/fraud

On Nov. 8 at approximately 8:08 a.m., Cambridge Police Department officers responded to the 700 block of Pine Street for a trespassing complaint. A 35-year-old woman of no fixed address was arrested as a result of the investigation.

The victim reported to officers that a female subject had been trespassing on the property, which was posted with multiple No Trespassing signs. Contact was made with the female subject who initially provided officers with a name.

The name that was provided was false. The subject, throughout the encounter, continued to provide false identification, a statement from the CPD said.

The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to CPD for processing. While at CPD, the woman continued to provide false information regarding her identity.

With the assistance of allied agencies and Homeland Security, the subject was identified as Jaclyn Marie Johnson. While at CPD, Johnson was found to be in possession of heroin and related paraphernalia.

Johnson had her initial appearance before a court commissioner and was turned over to the Dorchester County Detention Center on no bond.

Johnson was charged with the following:

• Fraud person identity avoid prosecution
• Obstruct and hindering
• CDS possession not cannabis
• CDS possession paraphernalia
• Fraud person identity avoid prosecution
• Fraud person identity avoid prosecution

Stalking

On Nov. 9 at approximately 11:03 a.m., CPD officers located a 24-year-old Cambridge woman in the 100 block of Heron Boulevard, who had an active arrest warrant. She was arrested and transported to CPD for processing, had her initial appearance before a court commissioner and was released on her personal recognizance.

Breauna Wheatley was charged with:

• Malicious destruction of property
• Stalking
• Harassment

Charges stem from an incident that occurred Oct. 14 in the 800 block of Washington Street where she allegedly damaged property and sent harassing text messages. The victim applied for charges at the court commissioner, where an arrest warrant was issued.

Failure to appear

On Nov. 1, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a 37-year-old Cambridge man. On April 22, the Talbot County Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant charging him with failing to appear for a scheduled hearing for child support.

Wayne Ricarlo Demby Jr. was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and he was ordered held on a $775 cash bond.

Assault on police officer

On Nov. 2, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office stopped a motor vehicle on Ocean Gateway near Old Skipton Road for a cell phone violation. Deputies identified the driver as an 18-year-old Easton woman.

Deputies were assisted by Easton Police Department, K-9 Unit and developed probable cause to search the vehicle. Deputies located a controlled substance, alcohol and fraudulent driver’s licenses. During the search, the driver threw a bottle of alcohol at the Easton Police officer, striking him in the leg.

Colleen Noelle Foxwell was placed under arrest and charged with assault on a police officer, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. Foxwell was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a district court commissioner. She was held pending further action by the court.

Warrant arrest

On Nov. 9, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a 34-year-old Cambridge woman. On Nov. 7, the Talbot County Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant charging her with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing.

Kira Renee Woodus was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and was ordered held pending further action by the Circuit Court judge.

Theft

On Nov. 4, at approximately 3:40 p.m., CPD officers met with a 74-year-old Cambridge woman at CPD. Judith Blake was served a criminal summons and released on her signature on the following charge:

• Theft $1,500 to under $25,000

The charge stems from incidents ranging from 2018 through 2022 regarding funds that were transferred between accounts and the victim not receiving all their funds. The victim applied for charges with the court commissioner where a criminal summons was issued.

Theft

On Nov. 6 at approximately 12:12 a.m., CPD officers located a 21-year-old Cambridge woman in the 700 block of Sunburst Highway. Kymiree Money Molock was served a criminal summons and released on his signature on the following charge:

• Theft less than $100 value

The charge stems from a theft incident that occurred Nov. 2 at Walmart. The suspect allegedly attempted to return batteries at Walmart that were not sold there. She did not receive a return and proceeded to the battery section and exchanged the old batteries for new ones and left the store. Walmart Asset Protection applied for charges at the court commissioner where a criminal summons was issued.

Theft

On Nov. 6 at approximately 1:35 p.m., CPD officers responded to Walmart in reference to a theft. Contact was made with Walmart Asset Protection officers in reference to the theft who reported that a 64-year-old Cambridge man had allegedly stolen merchandise at Walmart and passed all points of sale. Total value of items stolen was $190.81.

Kevin Alonzo Stallings was issued a criminal citation and released on his signature for this incident on the following charge:

• Theft $100 to under $1,500 value.

Multiple warrants

On Nov. 6, 2022, at approximately 1:35 p.m., CPD officers responded to Walmart in reference to a theft. A 64-year-old Cambridge man was found to have multiple warrants for his arrest.

Kevin Alonzo Stallings was arrested and transported to CPD for processing.

Stallings was served the following warrants:

• Bench warrant for failure to appear in court on 10-26-22 original charge of theft
• Bench warrant for failure to appear in court on 10-26-22 original charge of malicious destruction of property
• Arrest warrant for theft $100 to under $1,500 and 4^th-degree burglary
• Arrest warrant for violating a protective order and 2^nd-degree assault

On each warrant, Stallings had his initial appearance before a court commissioner and was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

The arrest warrant for the theft and burglary charges stem from a theft incident that occurred on Sept. 13 at Walmart. Stallings had allegedly stolen merchandise belonging to Walmart, he was identified, and Walmart Asset Protection applied for charges with the court commissioner where an arrest warrant was issued.

The arrest warrant for the violation of protection order and 2^nd-degree assault charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 12 in the 600 block of Greenwood Ave., where the victim applied for charges with the court commissioner where an arrest warrant was issued.

Theft

On Nov. 6, at approximately 4:53 p.m., CPD officers were on foot at Walmart when they were notified by Walmart Asset Protection officers of a theft. CPD officers were informed that the suspect, a 29-year-old Cambridge woman, was observed on CCTV switching tags on items. She had previously been banned from Walmart.

Amanda Dawn Mileto was contacted and issued a criminal citation and released on her signature on the following charge:

• Theft less than $100 value.
