Dorchester County Cold Weather Shelter open 24/7 through Saturday

The Dorchester County Cold Weather Shelter, which opened December 1, 2024, to house the area’s homeless population during overnight hours, opened for daytime hours on Saturday, January 4, and has remained through the Snow Emergency, according to Shelter Coordinator Valerie Smith.
