Dorchester Center for the Arts free concert at Second Saturday Reception
Local musicians and favorites Emma Myers and Sam Pugh will be performing Saturday at the Dorchester Center for the Arts (DCA). Their music will be a part of DCA’s Second Saturday Reception from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and this event is free and open to the public.
The event is the closing reception for the Annual Photography Show and also serves as part of the continuing celebration of DCA’s 45th Anniversary. The evening refreshments will be champagne, strawberries and desserts.

New exhibition opens Nov. 19
The Dorchester Center for the Arts announces that the Wednesday Morning Artists (WMA) and Friends will present the “Gallery of Gifts” Holiday Show and Sale in the Galleries from Nov. 19 through Jan. 2. This exhibit by the WMA is highly anticipated each year.
An Artists’ Reception will be held on Dec. 12 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. and will feature local church choirs lining the grand staircase to sing carols. Light refreshments will also be provided.
