DELMAR - Donna Lee Sturgis died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin White and Susie Joyner White Adkins.
She worked as a bookkeeper in her younger years and was proud to have raised her family. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Delmar.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Wilson Henry Sturgis; a son, John Dalfonso of Willards; and two grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service was held Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
