SALISBURY - Donald Lewis Granger of Calabash, N.C., died at his home on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016. Born in Salisbury and a U.S. Army veteran, he was a son of the late Harrell and Hannah Stieff Granger. Surviving are his life partner, Beverly Pitak; a sister-in-law, Joyce Granger; nephews Mark and Lee Granger; and four great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Granger of Salisbury. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
