SALISBURY - Donald E. Rudd of Salisbury, died on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Cylon, Wis., he was the son of the late William Russell Rudd and Arlene Martinson Rudd. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked for 22 years for Sweetheart Bakery before retiring in 1987. Later, he worked as a truck driver for Sharp Water. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Bev Kazmarski. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annette Rudd of Salisbury; three children, Donald C. Rudd of Parsonsburg, William E. Rudd of Salisbury and Wendy Beiler of Harrisonburg, Va.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Rudd; a sister, Shirley Bergert; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Monday, June 13, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A private interment was held in Springhill Memory Gardens.
