CAMBRIDGE — The Dorchester Banner has learned that a manager at the county’s Emergency Medical Services has resigned. The manager had been on the job only a few days early this month.
Asked for information on the departure, Acting Manager Donna Lane did not go into reasons, but confirmed, “We are currently accepting applications for our EMS Manager position. Our previous EMS Manager resigned.”
Tensions have been apparent in the county’s emergency management, as various agencies compete for funding and struggle to coordinate their activities.
The Banner will update the story as more information becomes available.
