CAMBRIDGE - Diane Marie Marsh, of Cambridge, died late Saturday night, Dec. 20, 2008, in Memorial Hospital, Easton. She was 42. Born on Feb. 14, 1966, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Stanley Warner and Janis Wheatley Warner of Secretary. Diane was a graduate of North Dorchester High School, class of 1984. On June 17, 2006, she married Eric Paul Marsh. Diane and Eric had attended First United Methodist Church in Secretary. For ten years Diane was employed at Wildlife International of Easton. Diane enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband. She also liked the beach, camping and shopping. Diane was a member of ABATE of Maryland, Eastern Shore Chapter. This is an organization promoting motorcycle safety which her husband is actively involved. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Long; two step-daughters, Kelsie Marsh and Cali Marsh; a step-son, Ritchie Long III, all of Cambridge; a sister, Sandy Russum and her husband Dennis of Cambridge; a brother, Matthew Warner and his wife Amy of Woolford; maternal grandmother, Hazel Wheatley of Cambridge; an aunt, Mae Hobbs; an uncle, Doug Wheatley; mother-in-law, Barbara Marsh of Cambridge; two brothers-in-law, Jason Marsh of Cambridge; Matthew Marsh of Newport Beach, Calif.; special friends whom were considered as sisters along with their respective spouses, Arlene Paul, Hope Harman, Sherry Schuyler, Tanya Doty, Debbie Slacum and Robin Webster; nieces; nephews; cousins; friends and her two boxer pets Hattie Mae and Gunther. Preceding Diane in death was her maternal grandfather, John Wheatley; paternal grandparents, Stanley and Mabel Warner; and an uncle, Kenneth Wheatley. A Celebration of Life Service was held at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, in Secretary, on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, where the family received friends two hours prior to the service. Officiating was The Rev. Helen Lockwood, Pastor, who had also presided over the marriage of Diane and Eric. Burial followed at Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge. Pallbearers were Matthew Marsh, Jason Marsh, Matt Warner, David Paul, Ritchie Long III and John Riggio.
