PARSONSBURG - David Albion Douglas, 72, of Parsonsburg, died August 27, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, he was the son of the late Reverend Albion G. and Katherine Louise Douglas. He graduated from Wicomico Senior High School in 1962, and then worked in the grocery industry for over 35 years. He received his Associate's Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in 2001 and took a full-time position at The Worship Center in Berlin. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Brenda Morris Douglas; his sons, Ron Douglas, Lane Douglas and Stephen Douglas; eight grandchildren; five siblings; Elva Layfield, Beverly Kerfoot, Paul Douglas, Blair Douglas and Jerry Douglas; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., today, Thursday, September 1, 2016, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with Rev. Bryan Pugner officiating. Interment will be held at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
