Damon 'Bobby' Carroll Jr., 57

EASTON - Damon 'Bobby' Carroll Jr., of Easton, died May 24, 2009, following a motorcycle accident in Easton Memorial Hospital. He was 57. He was born on March 22, 1952, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Bobby graduated from Arundel High School and was employed as a Adolescent Counselor and later as an Adult Counselor for the state of Maryland jail system. He was an avid reader, and loved riding on his motorcycle, his family, traveling, participating in Relay for Life, and attending drag races. He was preceded in death by his father, Damon H. Carroll Sr. Bobby is survived by his wife of nine years, Alida Carroll; four daughters, Michelle L. Lessard of San Diego, Calif., Chelsea A. Whittaker of Delaware, Allana C. Hollingsworth of Easton, and Amanda C. Hollingsworth of Delaware; two sisters, Sharon Duvall of Severn, and Lonnie Lawless of Jessup; two brothers, Tim Carroll of Hanover, Pa., and Jeff Mueller of Glen Burnie; mother, Geraldine L. Carroll; and grandchildren, Jaxon and Chloe Whittaker. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 2nd Ave. SW, Glen Burnie, where a visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
