EASTON - Corinne E. Blackwell, daughter of the late Robert H. and Luvenia L. Wilson Elliott of Easton, departed this life Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at home in Easton, at the age of 81. Corinne was born July 28, 1929. She was educated in the Talbot County Public Schools and was a caregiver for numerous families and William Hill Manor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles A. Blackwell, Sr.; one son, Andre D. Blackwell; one daughter, Ianthia C. Blackwell; a grandson, Thomas Pearson; and the following brothers and sisters, Albert J. Elliot, Robert H. Elliot, Sarah E. Friend, and Florence P. Moaney. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, the Red Hats Women's Association, and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary of Easton. Corinne leaves to cherish her memory the following children, Doris J. Blackwell of Easton, Charles A. Blackwell Jr. (Dorothy) of Chesapeake City, Va., Ronald S. Blackwell (Annette) of Upper Marlboro, Anthony G. Blackwell of Cumberland, Violeece E. Green (Wayne) of Royal Oak, Bronte N. Cephus of Easton, and Sheila B. Cuffee (Anthony) of Hurlock. She leaves to mourn the following grandchildren, Sherenna Blackwell, Terrence Green, Sr., Dion Blackwell, Atonya Cuffee, Natasha Blackwell, Jada Blackwell, LaRon Blackwell, Rhonda Green, Felicia Blackwell, Andrea Williams, Andre Williams, Brittany Blackwell, Sean Cephus, Ian Cuffee and Jessica Blackwell; one sister, Joyce M. Wright (Hurlock); and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Union Baptist Church, 223 Glenwood Ave., Easton, with a viewing two hours prior to service. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Easton.
