St. Paul’s Sunday School
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and June McKelvey teaching. The Richardson Men’s Class will meet at the same time with Phil McKelvey having the devotions and teaching the lesson.
Family and Friends Day
The Waugh Chapel UM Choir invites you to join them for their annual Family and Friends Day on Nov. 10, during the 10 am worship service.
The messenger will be the Rev. Elmer N. Davis, superintendent of the Easton District of the United Methodist Church. Dinner will be served immediately following the service.
Annual Homecoming
Zoar UM Church in Reid’s Grove will celebrate Homecoming at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 10. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Bernadette Beckett, along with her choir and congregation from Wesley Temple UM Church in Salisbury.
Dinner will be served at 1 p.m. The public is invited.

Church yard sale
This Saturday, Trinity UM Church in East New Market will hold a yard sale from 7 a.m. to noon. Set up is 6 a.m. There are a limited number of tables inside for rent for $10. Outside tables will have to be provided by the customer and the fee is still $10.
There will also be a youth table bake sale for outreach. Coffee and breakfast foods will be available. For information call 443-462-6901.
Annual Homecoming
Annual Homecoming will be held at Christ UM Church, 5033 Aireys Road, Cambridge on Nov. 10.
The morning service at 9 a.m. will have Minister Altamese Burbage from Victory Christian Fellowship in New Castle, Del. bring the message.
The Rev. Ashley Jones from The East New Market/Linkwood charge will bring the afternoon message at 3 p.m. She will be accompanied by The Homecoming Choir under the direction of Bishop Adrian Newton. A fellowship dinner will take place following the afternoon service.
The Homecoming Committee is the sponsor and the Rev. Roslyn Watts is host pastor. All are welcome.
Immanuel Lutheran Bazaar
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston will hold its annual Bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a silent auction, along with produce, plants, small crafts, Christmas items and used books for sale.
The traditional lunch will be available with a variety of soups served with homemade biscuits (chicken noodle, vegetable beef and chili). Also available will be chicken salad in containers or as sandwiches and hot dogs.

Bethel dinners
Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge will be providing Oyster, Chicken and Codfish dinners from 11:30 a.m. until on Nov. 15. Also included will be green beans, potato salad, candied yams and roll for a donation of $20.
The dinner is sponsored by the Women of Bethel and all orders must be in by Nov. 14 for businesses only.

Ladies' Prayer Breakfast
The Dorchester County’s Ladies' Prayer Breakfast will be held 8 a.m. on Nov. 16 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 205 Maryland Ave., Cambridge.
Betsy Malkus will be bringing the message. This is a nondenominational event and all are welcome.

Trustee Anniversary
Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge will hold its annual Trustee Anniversary at 4 p.m. on Nov. 17. Sponsored by the Trustee Board it will feature in concert Ella Wright and The Spiritual Wonders of Edgewood along with liturgical dancers Jeanne Elliott and Sterling Perkins.
A freewill offering will be taken. The Rev. Randolph Fitchett Jr. is host pastor.
Homecoming
The National Church of God, East New Market will observe its Annual Homecoming Service at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Widows & Widowers Luncheon
Comedian Ken Huff of Oxen Hill will perform at the Widows & Widowers Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 16 at 801 Race St., Cambridge.
