Nazarene Services
On the First Sunday of Advent at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl, pastor will be bringing the message from Matthew 24:36-44. Kathy Baker will be sharing in song. Communion Sunday. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The Rev. Richard K. Prahl is the lead pastor. The public is invited to all services.

Grace UMC
Services at Grace UM Church in Cambridge are as follows: Sunday. 8:45 a.m. Early morning Grace. Leader and Speaker, Pastor Dan Gedman. Sacrament of Holy Communoin. 9:45 a.m. Sunday School. Guest singer, Grace Notes Trio. (Baraca Class live on WCEM - 1240 AM) Dr. Hines Class with Shelley McCollister teaching. 11 a.m. worship. Speaker, Pastor Dan Gedman. Scripture: Matthew 1:18-24. Sermon: “Matthew’s First Proof That Jesus is the Messiah.” Dec. 4 noon, Prayer Warriors for cancer service.

St. Paul’s Sunday School
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Gary Hickman teaching. The Richardson Men’s Class will meet at the same time with Randy Bradford having the devotions and teaching the lesson.

Memorial Tree
The Salvation Army is once again sponsoring a community Christmas Memorial Tree. For a donation an angel can be placed on the tree in memory of someone.
Names will be listed on the programs and read in the Memorial service which will be held Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 200 Washington St., Cambridge.
The service will include local talents Betty Boda, Penny Pink, Laura Todd and Dr. William Bair.

Christmas Parade
On Dec.7 at 4 p.m. during the Cambridge Christmas Parade. Christ Church will have a chocolate booth.
Volunteers are needed to bake cookies and brownies and sign up to help sell. Call the church office at 410-228-3161.

Chorus in Concert
On Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. the Chorus of Dorchester will be in concert at Christ Church.

Ladies' Prayer Breakfast
The Dorchester County Ladies Prayer Breakfast will be held Dec. 14 at 8 a.m. at Grace UM Church in Cambridge.
This is a nondenominational event and all women are invited. For further information you may call 410-228-3396.

Christmas Bazaar
Waugh Chapel U M Church will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 7 from 7 a.m. - noon. Breakfast eat in or take out.

Christmas Concert
The Tidewater Singers Christmas Concert will be held at Christ Episcopal Church at 4 p.m. on Dec. 15. Admission is $10 with students free.
Parking on street or behind the church at the Allan Whatley Parish Hall. A reception will follow the concert.

Bus trip to Sight & Sound
Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries is sponsoring a trip to see “Queen Esther” at Sight & Sound in Lancaster, Pa. on March 28, 2020.
The bus will depart 6 a.m. from Old Dollar General in Cambridge. Price includes, bus, show and dinner. Cost is age 3-12, $75 per person; Age 13 - adult, $150 per person.
There is a payment plan with all money due Jan 31, 2020. No refunds.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship. The church is located at 923 Phillips St., Cambridge. Biship Weldon M. Johnson is the presiding prelate.

Wesleyan Activities
The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

Noonday services

Men’s Breakfast
Join men across Dorchester County for the Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study. Men of all ages will gather this month at the Faith Baptist Fellowship, 1312 Race Street, Cambridge at 8 a.m. Aug. 31.
Michael Graham Sr. will lead the study of Chapter 5 of the book How God Makes Men entitled “David: The Principle of Correction.”
