Grace UMC
Services at Grace UM Church in Cambridge on Sunday are as follows:

Wesleyan Activities
The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

Noonday services
New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge holds noonday services every Wednesday. 6:30 p.m. Bible Study Series “Managing Our Emotions.” Open to the public. For more information, contact New Life Church at: 410-221-7853.


Gleaners Class
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. Sunday with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Dot Bradshaw teaching the lesson. The Richardson Men’s Class will have devotions and lesson by Leon Peters.
Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching on Luke 4:14-21. Special music will be provided by the Rev. Tim Thompson. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.
Church Anniversary
Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries will observe its 9th Anniversary on Sunday at 3;30 p.m. with guest speaker, the Rev. Keith Cornish.
Soup and Sweater Day
On Jan. 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Grace UM Church in Cambridge will host a Soup and Sweater Day. Open to the public. Come get a FREE hot bowl of soup and pick up some FREE warm clothing.


Friendship Day
The Lillian Hollis Singers will celebrate their annual Friendship Day on Jan. 27 at Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Linda Jones and various singing groups will be on the program. The public is invited to attend.
The Rev. Randolph Fitchett Jr. is host pastor and Darlene Jones is president.
Men’s Day
Annual Men’s Day at Zoar United Methodist Church in Reid’s Grove will be held Jan. 27 at 3:30 p.m.
The Rev. William Ross Sr. along with his congregation and c h oir from new Life Community UM Church in Centreville will be guests.
The public is invited. The Rev. Jerome Tilghman Sr. is host pastor.


Gospel Jazz Concert
First Baptist Church Cambridge is hosting the Stephen Lynerd Group on Jan. 27 at their 10:30 a.m. worship service. The quartet will present a program of sacred and classical music as well as their original gospel jazz arrangements on piano, guitar, drums and vibraphone.
This group is based in the Chicago area and comes to Cambridge as part of their East Coast Winter Tour. The church is located at 501 Glenburn Ave. For more information call the church office at 410-228-4943.


Study Of The 7 Churches In Revelation
There will be a study of the Seven Churches of Revelation, found in the Bible book of Revelation, Chapters 1-3, beginning Feb. 13 at Faith Baptist Fellowship, 1312 Race St., Cambridge. The study will begin at 7 p.m. weekly.
The focus of this study will be to understand each church’s context of ministry, the challenges faced by that church, and the instructions given to that church. We will be challenged to look for ways the lessons learned from these churches can be applied to our setting with the goal of strengthening and encouraging the churches of today. Study guides are available for $8.

Spaghetti Dinner
Feb. 1 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 5401 White Hall Road, Cambridge. Ticket includes Spaghetti (sauce, meat or vegetarian), salad, garlic bread and drink. Desserts available for purchase. Adults, $10; children 5-12, $54; children 4 and under, free; family package: 2 adults and 2 children under 12, $25. Carry-outs available.


Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship. The church is located at 923 Phillips St., Cambridge. Bishop Weldon M. Johnson is the presiding prelate.
Bus Trip
Brookview Church will sponsor a bus trip to Sights & Sounds Theater to see “Jesus” on March 30. Each tickets includes, bus seat, 3 p.m. show seat, lunch at Hershey Farms, fun and snack on bus.
Total cost is: adult, $125 or ages 3-12, $75. 50 percent nonrefundalbe deposit due this month with remainder of cost due Feb. 15.
Bus stops at Brookview, Federalsburg and Denton.
