Services at Grace UMC

Grace UM Church, 501 Race St., Cambridge will have the following services Sunday: There will be one worship service at 9:45 a.m. with speaker Pastor Tina on “Leave Boldy.” Scripture: Ephesians 5:1, 5-17. 10:45 a.m. Farewell reception for Pastor Tina in the Baraca room.

Nazarene Services

At the Cambridge Church of the Nazarene, Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Sharon L. Prahl, pastor will be preaching on Proverbs 17:22, “A Merry Heart is Serious Business’ on Father’s Day. Kathy Baker will be sharing in song.

Wesleyan Activities

The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

The church is located at 801 Race St., Cambridge (corner of Race and Washington). Host pastor is Pastor Jack Diehl.

St. Paul’s Classes

The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s Church in Cambridge will meet 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Gloria Whaley will have the devotions and Dot Bradshaw will teach the lesson. The Richardson Men’s Class will meet at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Leon Peters will have the devotion and teach the lesson.

Noonday services

New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge holds noonday services every Wednesday. 6:30 p.m. Bible Study Series “The Necessity of a Consistent Christian Life.” Open to the public. For more information, contact New Life Church at: 410-221-7853.

Baptismal service Delayed

The Baptismal service previously scheduled on June 17 by the Souls Harbor Church of God at Great Marsh Park, has been postponed, as the recent heavy rains have affected the water.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m. a service with worship and music, followed by a luncheon, will take place as planned. The Baptismal service will be rescheduled as soon as possible. For more information, call Pastor Roy D. Collins at 410-253-4148.

Ladies Prayer’s Breakfast

On June 16 New Revelations Baptist Church will be hosting the annual ladies prayer breakfast at 7 a.m. at 711 Bradley Ave., Cambridge.

Blessing of the Bikes

Start your riding season off with God’s Blessing on June 16 at 11 a.m. Sponsored by New Revelations Baptist Church, 711 Bradley Ave., Cambridge. The Rev. William A. Hitchens Jr., pastor. Donation $10. Refreshments will be served.

Breakfast & Yard Sale

Church Anniversary

On June 24 at 3:30 p.m. New Revelations Baptist Church, 711 Bradley Ave., Cambridge will be celebrating the 16th church anniversary.

This year, there will a joy afternoon service. All soloists, quartets and praise dancers are welcome.

ATPM sponsors trip

Agape Temple of Praise & Ministries Sunday School is sponsoring a trip to Kings Dominion on Aug. 11. Cost: $70 for ages 3 years old and up (includes transportation and ticket).

Children under 3 years old, $35, transportaion. Tickets are free at the gate. Payment plan available, all money due by July 22.

Sister to Sister

Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
