Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.- Kappa Theta Omega Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.-Cambridge Alumnae Chapter, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.- Iota Chi Zeta Chapter partnered for the second year in a row to support KTO’s annual Pink Goes Red for Women’s Heart Health event. This year a line dancing activity, led by YMCA instructor Arlene Gordon Martinez, was held at Hurlock United Methodist Church on Feb. 7.

Spaghetti and Ravioli Dinner
There will be a Spaghetti and Ravioli Dinner at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish Hall at 115 Main St. in Secretary from 4:30-7 p.m. on Feb. 29. All you can eat menu includes spaghetti with plain or meat sauce, cheese ravioli, bread, salad, dessert and drinks. Carryouts available. Cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. For information, call 410-943-4300.

Soup Day
Zion United Methodist Church, 612 Locust St., will have Soup Day from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Feb 26. Vegetable beef, chicken noodle and dry Lima bean will be served in Garrettson Hall for $4 per meal, which includes bowl of soup, biscuits, dessert and beverage. Quarts with six biscuits, $8. Carry outs and delivery available, including everything but beverage. Call 410-228-4910 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. for free delivery. Use Glasgow Street entrances for easy access.

Ushers’ Day
The annual Ushers’ Day will be held at Christ United Methodist Church at 5033 Aireys Road in Cambridge on March 1 at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Dartanyon Hines from Scott’s United Methodist Church in Trappe and Asbury United Methodist Church in Easton. He will be accompanied by his choir and congregation. Dr. Theresa Stafford is the president and the Rev. Roslyn Watts is the host pastor. All are invited to attend.

Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl, pastor will bring the message. The public is invited. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The Rev. Richard K. Prahl is the lead pastor. The public is invited to all services.

Grace UMC
Services at Grace UM Church in Cambridge are as follows: Sunday: 8:45 Early Morning Grace. Leader and Speaker: Pastor Dan Gedman. 9:45 a.m. Sunday School. Baraca Class with guest singer, Penny Pink. Sermon: “The Ways of God vs. The Ways of Man.” Feb. 5: noon, Prayer Warriors for Cancer Service in the Sanctuary. Feb. 6: 10-11 a.m. Storytime for toddlers age 2 through early elementary. 7 p.m. Senior Choir rehearsal. Jan. 31: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Soup and Sweater Day. Open to the public. Come enjoy a nice, hot bowl of soup an take home some warm, winter clothing.

St. Paul’s Sunday School
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge and Richardson Men’s Class will both meet at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Gloria Whaley will have the devotions while Gary Hickman will teach the Gleaners. Shawn Peters will have the devotions and teach Richardson Men.

New Sermon Series
This Sunday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Fellowship, 1312 Race St., Cambridge, the Rev. Randall Blackmon continues the current sermon series called “Who’s Your One?” These messages are designed to mobilize every Christian to identify at least one person in their lives to pray for and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with in 2020.

Community Soup Day
Zion Baptist Church, 600 Cross St., Cambridge will hold its Free Community Soup Day every Friday in January through March 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. All are welcome. Host pastor is Elder Craig N. Mathiew Sr.

Ladies’ Prayer Breakfast
Immanuel United Church of Christ, 5401 Whitehall Road, Cambridge will host the Dorchester County Ladies’ Prayer Breakfast on March 21 at 8 a.m.

Bus trip to Sight & Sound
Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries is sponsoring a trip to see “Queen Esther” at Sight & Sound in Lancaster, Pa. on March 28, 2020.
The bus will depart 6 a.m. from Old Dollar General in Cambridge. Price includes, bus, show and dinner. Cost is age 3-12, $75 per person; Age 13 - adult, $150 per person.
There is a payment plan with all money due Jan 31, 2020. No refunds.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the second Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
