The Rev. and Mrs. Ellery Adams will be special guests at The Salvation Army, 200 Washington St., Cambridge on Aug. 11. The Rev. and Mrs. Adams will play and sing during the 9:45 a.m. Sunday School hour and 11 a.m. worship. The Rev. Adams will bring the morning message. The public is invited to both services.

Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl pastor will be preaching on Luke 11:1-4, “Restoring Our Lives With the Lord’s Prayer,” at Cambridge Church of the Nazarene. Special music will be provided by Kathy Baker. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.

Grace UMC
Services at Grace UM Church in Cambridge are as follows: Sunday. 8:45 a.m. Early Morning Grace. Speaker, Pastor Dan Gedman. Leader: Donna Towers. 9:45 a.m. Sunday School. Baraca Class. Dex Padilla, guest singer. (Baraca Class live on WCEM-1240 AM). Dr. Hines Class. JoAnne Baker, teacher. 11 a.m. Worship. Speaker, Pastor Dan Gedman. Scripture: 2 Peter 2:10b-22. Message: “False Teachers, Part 2.” Aug. 14: noon, Prayer Warriors for cancer service.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship. The church is located at 923 Phillips St., Cambridge. Bishop Weldon M. Johnson is the presiding prelate.

St. Paul’s Sunday School
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church and the Richardson’s Men’s Class will combine their worship in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. for special music by The Grace Notes.

Bus Trip
Scott’s UM Church Homecoming Committee is sponsoring a bus trip to Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, Pa. to see live on stage JESUS. The trip will be Aug. 10 for the 3 p.m. s how. Transportation will be by Jor-Lin Tour & Charter.
The bus will leave Scott’s UMC in Trappe at 9:30 a.m.
The price includes bus are, lunch at Miller’s Smorgasbvord Restaurant (tax and tip), and ticket to Sight an Sound. Initial deposit: 50 percent (adults, $72.50 and children $43) due as soon as possible. Final payment due July 6, no exceptions.
No breakfast stop so bring snacks.

Ladies' Prayer Breakfast
The Ladies' Prayer Breakfast will be held this month on Aug. 17 at 8 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 501 Glenburn Ave., Cambridge.
This is a nondenominational event and all women are invited.

Banks Day
Mt. Pleasant UM Church, 4202 Maiden Forest Road, Vienna will be celebrating Banks Day at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 18. The guest preacher is the Rev. Dr. Lena M. Dennis of John Wesley UM Church, Glen Burnie.
A fellowship meal will be held at 2 p.m. The publc is invited.
Host pastor is the Rev. Ashley L. Jones.

Men and Women
Day Service
On Aug. 25 at 4 p.m. the Building Fund Committee will sponsor a Men and Women Day Service to benefit the Greater Mt. Olive Full Gospel Baptist Church.
The congregation is urged to come out and support the church.

Wesleyan Activities
The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

Noonday services
New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge holds noonday services every Wednesday. 6:30 p.m. Bible Study Series “Managing Our Emotions.” Open to the public. For more information, contact New Life Church at: 410-221-7853.

Men’s Breakfast
Join men across Dorchester County for the Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study. Men of all ages will gather this month at the Cambridge Wesleyan Church Hall, Race Street, Cambridge at 8 a.m. Saturday.
