CARE is an acronym for Confident Ambassadors Reaching Everyone. Two students from each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classroom were selected by their teachers based upon their leadership, academic, and social skills. Student Ambassadors attended a two-day workshop this summer consisting of leadership and team building activities. In addition to participating in skill-building activities, students also worked toward creating the foundation of the program such as developing the program name and outlining roles and duties of the ambassadors. Their duties will consist of: welcoming new students, giving tours, reviewing PBIS expectations, and taking on leadership responsibility during various school-wide and community events. The student ambassadors are excited to be a part of this new program and aim to positively connect the school and community through their leadership and service.
