SALISBURY - Celia Marie Ivers died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Katherine Regan Sofio.
She graduated from Oceanside High School in New York. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish in Salisbury.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Ivers of Salisbury; a daughter, Kara Rodriguez of Salisbury; a son, Kevin Ivers of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Thomas Sofio; four sisters, Mary Atanasio, Kathy Callery, Felicia Kobbe and Regina Perman, all of New York; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Celia was preceded by a brother, Daniel Sofio.
A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
