Conner, 86 CRISFIELD - Carroll Thomas Conner died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at his home. Born in Crisfield Nov. 21, 1926, he was a son of the late Aaron and Manie Hudson Conner. He worked with Cullen Farms in Crisfield for many years until his retirement. Carroll enjoyed helping others whenever he could, and was a friend to all who knew him. He was a fixture at Gordon's in Crisfield for many years and considered it his second home. He will be greatly missed by all his Gordon's family. Carroll is survived by a son, Shane Conner and family of Bethany Beach, Del; a brother, Harlton "Hawk" Conner of Crisfield; two half-brothers, Tommy and Joe Robertson of Marion; numerous nieces and nephews; and his second family, Steve and Sylvia Cullen, Brent Cullen, and Christine Brittingham, all of Crisfield. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister, Norman, Pete, Johnny and Jerry Conner, and Aileen "Minnie" Conner Haynie. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad, LSCARS, P.O. Box 406, Crisfield, MD 21817. Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. Rev. Bob Daniels officiated. Interment was in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
