Carrnetta Phillips

DELMAR -- Carrnetta D. Phillips, died Thursday, March 31, 2016. She was a former member of the Women's Christian Society and most recently an active member of Snethen United Methodist Church. As a young woman, she was employed in the newspaper industry and remained in this business until her retirement. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Lilly Dennis; and her husband of 63 years, Louis Pratt Phillips. She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Sue Wheatley and Patricia A. Ziolkowski; a son, Louis Pratt Phillips III; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Ralph's Hill Cemetery in Delmar. A memorial service will followed at Snethen United Methodist Church in Mardela Springs. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
