ESSEX - On Feb. 11, 2009, Carolyn O'Neil Bronushas (nee Lewis), beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph Benedict Bronushas, passed away. She was the devoted mother of Kathleen Abbott and her husband Bruce, John Bronushas and his wife Dawn and the late Joseph Bronushas Jr.; dear grandmother of Tori, Cheyenne and Dakota Abbott, Cody and Jodie Bronushas; great-grandmother of Wyatt Abbott; and sister of Leon Brownley and his wife Jane. Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A. 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Mercy Medical Center 301 Saint Paul Place Baltimore, MD 21202 or Stella Maris Hospice 2300 Dulaney Valley Road Timonium, MD 21093 will be appreciated.
