GOOSE CREEK, S. C. - Carolyn Mowbray Colbourne, passed away the afternoon of Jan. 12, 2007. She was the widow of Charles Colbourne of Goose Creek.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend her memorial service in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Greenridge Road Chapel, which was held on Jan. 16, 2007. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Colbourne was born on Feb. 14, 1935, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Morris Mowbray and Hilda Dillon Mowbray.
She was a homemaker, a member of Wando Woods Baptist Church and a member of Omar Shrine Temple, Hillbilly Clan No. 82.
She is survived by four sons, Chuck Colbourne of Fayetteville, N.C., Donnie Colbourne and Bob Colbourne, both of Goose Creek, and Michael Colbourne of North Charleston; a brother, Nathaniel Buddy Mowbray of Cambridge; three sisters, Lois Jenkins, Doris Marshall and Kathleen Frazier, all of Cambridge; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Brohawn and a brother, Morris Mowbray Jr.
