Carol Eichenmiller

SALISBURY - Carol Jarusinsky Eichenmiller died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 in Snow Hill. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Jarusinsky. She graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and began her teaching career in Montgomery County. Later, she taught at St. Francis de Sales School and for 22 years, and then at James M. Bennett High School, until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nadine Walton. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Rodger L. Eichenmiller; three children, Alex Eichenmiller, Cherie Quackenbush and Karl Eichenmiller; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial was in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
