Hertrich Automotive Group joined DCPS’s kickoff for the new school year to present Teacher of the Year Charlene Zinnel with a Kia Sorrento for her use during the year.

Michael McCauley, general manager of Hertrich Honda Kia in Easton, presented Ms. Zinnel with her sweet new wheels. Hertrich also took the opportunity to announce their Cash for Class program, where Dorchester County teachers can create a video to win a portion of a $25,000 pot to fund a special project or activity for their classroom.

"Thank you, Hertrich, for continuing to be a valued partner of Dorchester County Public Schools," a statement from the schools said.
